An Overview of Mini Bike 6.5 hp Engine
A basic 6.5 hp engine is gasoline-powered and has limited applications like lawnmowers, portable generators, mini bikes, and go-karts. The conversion factor is about 200 cc for a 6.5 hp engine . This is an approximation as the two units – hp and cc – are different. HP measures the power that the motor generates while cc is a measure of the size of the cylinders typically known as displacement. The common notion is that the larger the displacement of the engine the more power will it generate but again, this is no rule of thumb as the power output of the motor depends on several factors. These are the cooling system, the type of fuel, the use of a turbocharger/supercharger, the compression ratio of the motor, how fast the motor runs, the placement of the valves, the carburetor/fuel injection system, the timing system, and more. When all these parameters are taken in unison, the true power output of a 6.5 hp engine can be determined. Here is a typical example of a 6.5 hp engine.
